Position: Test Engineer

Salary: INR 3.25 LPA*

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Batch: 2024 and 2025

Experience: Freshers

Location: Bengaluru, India.


JOB DESCRIPTION:-

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
  • Integrate automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understand and implement V&V methodologies to ensure the software meets specified requirements.
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements through rigorous testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop test strategies.
  • Execute test cases, identify bugs, and report issues with detailed documentation.
  • Track and document software defects, performing root cause analysis and working with developers for resolution.
  • Leverage test automation tools and version control systems like Git.
  • Utilize defect tracking tools such as JIRA for efficient bug tracking and reporting.
  • Identify areas for test optimization and recommend improvements in processes and tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation and quality assurance practices.


ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA

  • BSc IT/CS & BCA


IMPORTANT POINTS:-

  • Strong understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or C#).
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium).
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills.
